Patrick John Landkamer With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patrick John Landkamer, who died unexpectedly on Friday, October 10, 2025, just days shy of his 44th birthday.
Born on October 16, 1981, in Mankato, Pat was the beloved son of John “Jack” and Colleen (Kittridge) Landkamer. He attended Loyola Catholic Schools and graduated from Mankato East High School in 2000, where he was known for his love of sports, playing baseball, hockey, and football.
After high school, Pat took his passion for building to Lake Superior College in Duluth. It was there that he met Laura Wenkel, and they later married. Pat was a proud dad to his four kids, Regan, Nolan, Cal, and Mallory. You could always find him cheering from the sidelines or coaching their sports teams, embracing every moment of fatherhood.
Pat loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trapping, and looked forward to annual trips to North Dakota with his family in the fall. He had a big personality and was known for being outgoing and social.
He is survived by Laura of North Mankato; his cherished children, Regan, Nolan, Cal, and Mallory; mother, Colleen Landkamer of Mankato; brothers, John (Mandy) Landkamer of Madison Lake and Mike (Melissa) Landkamer of Mankato; niece, Chloe Landkamer of Mankato; mother-in-law, Donna Wenkel of North Mankato; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Jack Landkamer; maternal grandparents, Martha and Gerald “Jerry” Kittridge; paternal grandparents, Georgia and Chuck Landkamer; and cousin, Gabe Kittridge.
Visitation will be held from 4-7pm, Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato. Mass will be celebrated at 4pm, Thursday, October 16, 2025 at church with visitation one hour prior.
