Patrick L. MacKay

Patrick L. MacKay, 81, a longtime resident of North Ridgeville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at St. John Medical Center in Westlake. He was born July 4, 1943, in Cleveland. Patrick was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a store manager for many years before retiring. Patrick enjoyed gardening, bird watching, video games, board games, and taking care of his beloved dog, Buddy. He is survived by his four children, Patrick MacKay (Tammy), John MacKay (Debra), Eileen MacKay-Nixon (Dan), and Maureen Karp (Greg); three grandchildren, Sean, Sarah, and Collin; his brother, Michael MacKay (Donna); and many nieces and nephews. Patrick was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Paula; and six siblings. A private family committal service will be held. Rev. Isidore Munishi will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County.
