Patrick Sarsfield Magner, 76, passed from this life on December 5, 2022, at his home in Hominy, Oklahoma
Patrick was born in Washington, DC to James Peter and Florence Bernice Magner. He grew up with two sisters. Patrick went to a catholic high school in Hi Point Maryland. Patrick went into the US Navy and ended up in Vietnam.
Patrick started working as a wastewater engineer. He then moved over to becoming a truck driver. Patrick was adventurous and loved moving around, being on the move. Patrick loved going to church a as a young man, he enjoyed the fellowship with the people. Patrick was a home body and loved antiquing. He enjoyed buying, selling, and trading old cars; some thought of him as a junk dealer but he liked the adventure of it all. Patrick loved his pets; the dogs – Knucklehead and Shortie
Patrick enjoyed his time with his family. His children meant the world to him. He had two sons and two daughters. Then came along the grandchildren; Madelyn, Audrey, Alexandra, Kadon, James and Austin.
Patrick is survived by his three of his children; Patrick Jr, Florence (Jeff) Smalley, Patti (Manny) Smith; his six grandchildren; one sister, Bridget (Bob) Frohreich; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. He is preceded in death by his parents; James and Florence; his son, Mikel Magner and one sister, Margaret Peters.
Graveside funeral for Patrick is 2:00pm Monday, December 12, 2022, at the pavilion in A J Powell Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday Morning from 9:00am till 12:00pm at the Powell Funeral Home. Powell Funeral Service handles all the arrangements.
