Patrick George McWilliams

Patrick George McWilliams, 75 years of age, of Norman, Oklahoma, died on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. He was born on March 19, 1950, to John and Eileen McWilliams in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Patrick McWilliams attended Norman High School, where he met his wife, Patricia Cameron. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and fought in the Vietnam war.
He married Patricia Jane Cameron on December 26, 1970, in Norman, Oklahoma. They had one child, Melinda McWilliams
Patrick worked at the sanitation department as a Garbage Man and retired from The City of Norman at an early age due to a spider bite.
Patrick loved playing wahoo in his spare time. He enjoyed taking pens from every place he went and using them to take notes from books and writing them in his notebooks. Once he had an abundant collection of random pens. Patrick never met a stranger, and he always saw the good in everyone. He always loved to socialize with anyone. He loved watching OU football and was a true fan. Patrick loved fishing with his wife, daughter and son-in-law, and his family and friends. He loved a good meal with his friends and family, and his favorite food was fried chicken. He was a devoted husband and father. He loved to learn and soak up a lot of knowledge through encyclopedias and other books about actors and actresses and other subjects. He not only loved his family, he loved the family he married into.
Patrick is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Cameron McWilliams; daughter, Melinda McWilliams Jeffers and her husband William; brother, Norman McWilliams; and three grandsons, Blake Pittman, Thomas Pittman II, and Damian Pittman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eileen McWilliams; and his brother, Rusty McWilliams.
Pallbearers will be: William Jeffers (Son-in-law), Keith Cameron (Nephew), John-Dale McWilliams (Nephew), Jeremy Clark (Great-Nephew), Lewis Bookout (Nephew) and Daryl Cameron (Nephew).
