Patrick "Pat" Moorhouse, 74, of Beaumont, passed away suddenly, at his home on Monday, August 25th, 2025. He was born March 11, 1951, to I.K. and Margery Moorhouse.

Pat received a traditional Catholic education, attending St. Anne's from first to eighth grade and graduating from Monsignor Kelly High School. He attended Lamar University graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. Pat retired from DuPont as an operator, for whom he traveled the world.

Pat loved all things outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, garden, and just spend time in nature. He shared those joys with family and friends. He was apt to stop by with the spoils of a recent hunt or vegetables from his garden.

His true love was betting on and watching sports. He was a die-hard Longhorn fan.

Survivors include his siblings and their spouses, Mike and Katherine Moorhouse; Ann and Mike McDonald; David Moorhouse; Mary and Bobby Smith; John and Dena Moorhouse. Nieces and nephews and their spouses, Virginia and Jake Bailleaux; Ellen and Jeffrey Briscoe; Jake White and Scarlet Blanchard; Ben White; and Katy and Jake Bounds. His Aunt Flo Aulbaugh and great nieces, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Margery and I.K. Moorhouse.

Memorial contributions may be made to Some Other Place, 590 Center Street Beaumont, Texas, donation link.

A Rosary for Pat will be recited at 10:00 a.m., with his memorial service and reception to follow Friday, September 5, 2025, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2715 Calder Avenue, Beaumont. A family burial will take place later at Magnolia Cemetery , Woodville, Texas under the direction of Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
