Patrick M O’Brien

Patrick M. O'Brien, a longtime Mims resident, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Born in Titusville, FL on April 10, 1976, the son of Joseph O'Brien and Annette Lemmon.

Patrick graduated from Astronaut High School, Class of 1995 and was honorably discharged as a Senior Airman from the United States Air Force in 2007.

Patrick has spent his entire career working at Kennedy Space Center. He loved working on the various spacecraft throughout his tenure, most recently contributing to the Artemis program. He also enjoyed football, fishing, and spending time with his family. Patrick was the calm to our chaos.

Survivors include his wife, Brittany O'Brien (Spohn) and two daughters, Chloe and Aubrey O'Brien. Patrick's mother, Annette Lemmon (Gary). His brother, Sean O'Brien (Angie); nephews: Gavin, and Brock O'Brien. His stepmother, Brenda O'Brien and his stepsisters: Kim McCullough (Bobby) and Kathy Gallyon. Patrick had countless, lifelong friends and is preceded in death by his father, Joseph O'Brien.

Patrick's funeral service will be 12:00 pm Monday, November 17, 2025 at North Brevard Funeral Home. Following the service at 1:30 pm will be a Military Graveside service at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. The family would like to invite everyone to Celebrate Patrick's life at 2:00 pm following the graveside service at The Vineyards at Black Willow 2350 Black Willow Trail Mims, Fl 32754
