Patrick S. Scott, aged 69, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2024, in Saginaw, Michigan. Born on December 12, 1954, in Lapeer, Michigan, Patrick's life was one marked by a profound dedication to his loved ones, a passion for the outdoors, and a legacy of laughter and skilled craftsmanship that will be remembered by all who knew him.
Patrick is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Terry Igaz; his beloved son, Devon Ciszek and daughter-in-law, Lyndsay; and his cherished grandson, Maverick Ciszek. He is also remembered by his sister, Cheri Decatur. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Scott, and sisters, Robin Julian, Karen Hampton, and Dianna Ross.
Patrick's early life in Lapeer laid a strong foundation for his work ethic and the skills he would later showcase throughout his career in construction. Known for his ability to fix just about anything, Patrick was the go-to handyman in his family and community. His colleagues in the construction industry respected him for his dedication and passion, which were evident in every project he undertook.
Beyond his professional life, Patrick was an avid outdoorsman. He found solace and joy in the simplicity of nature, whether he was sitting in a deer stand at dawn, casting a line into a tranquil lake, or tending to his garden, where he grew vegetables with the same care and attention that he gave to every aspect of his life. His love for his cats was unparalleled, and they, along with his family, filled his home with warmth and companionship.
Those who knew Patrick will remember him for his quick wit and his ability to find humor in everyday situations. His laughter was contagious, and his sense of humor brought light to even the darkest of days. Patrick's passion for life was evident in everything he did, from the stories he shared to the memorable moments he created with his friends and family.
Patrick's legacy is one of love, laughter, and craftsmanship. His life was a testament to the things he held dear: family, nature, and the joy of creating something with his own two hands. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
As we bid farewell to Patrick S. Scott, we celebrate a life lived with vigor, humor, and an undeniable passion for the things that matter most. His spirit will forever be a guiding light for those he leaves behind, reminding us to embrace life's simple pleasures and to always approach our endeavors with heart and dedication. Rest in peace, Patrick. Your memory will live on in the hearts of those you touched and in the beauty of the world you so cherished.
Funeral service will be on Friday December 6, 2024, at 5pm from Rivertown Funeral Chapel with Pastor Chris Slosser presiding. Visitation will be on Friday from 3pm till time of service.

Pat, Robin, my brother Bob and I grew up together in Lapeer. As young kids we were always up to silly mischief. Pat and I were always able to coax Robin and Bob into doing things we thought were funny but in the end we all got in rouble for. When I was still at home at mom's house, Pat came to live with us for a while in Lapeer and he had a job there. I am grateful for that time we had with him. Unfortunately many years went by without seeing him and his siblings as our own lives kept us all busy. RIP Pat and Robin.
