Patrick J. Walentowski, died suddenly of terminal cancer on Monday, August 29, 2022, at Bethany Home in Waupaca. He was 71 years old. He was born on April 12, 1951, in Milwaukee, a son of Aloysius and Theresa (Panka) Walentowski.
Patrick was a graduate of Pulaski High School, class of 1969. Growing up he enjoyed spending time on his grandparent's dairy farm. He served in the Army National Guard. Patrick was formally of Milwaukee but found his dream home in Waupaca where he lived for 16 years and enjoyed watching the wildlife out his windows. Patrick was a religious man and a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca.
Patrick enjoyed playing the guitar and playing softball with his brother, Jim. He was an aficionado for '50s music and old country music.
Survivors include his brother, James (Kathleen) Walentowski of St. Francis; sister, Linda (Charles) Goodrich of West Allis; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Shirley Michalek and Jeannie Walentowski; a nephew, Timmy Michalek; and a niece, Debbie Czapiewski.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. George Daniel officiating. Burial will take place at Forest Home Cemetery in Pelican Lake. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
