Patrick John Willey, 25, of Milford, passed away on September 2, 2025. Born on February 13, 2000 in Waterbury, he was the son of John Willey and Bridget Harrington.
Pat was an amazing son, devoted big brother, a loyal friend, and endlessly lovable man whose presence lit up every room he entered. Known for his warm spirit and timeless taste, he was an old soul through and through, with a deep love for classic R&B and vinyl records that never faded.
A proud graduate of the University of New Haven, he earned his bachelor's degree in Music and Sound Recording, turning his lifelong passion into a meaningful and impactful career. As a recording engineer, he poured his heart into every project, helping countless artists find their sound and tell their stories through music. His recording studio, lovingly named The Dot in honor of his grandmother, became a creative sanctuary for many - a place where music came to life.
He was never far from a melody - whether behind the board, in the booth, or simply playing for the joy of it. For Pat, there was no Plan B, his life was music, and music was his way of loving the world back.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy lives on in every note, every record, and every heart he touched.
Patrick is survived by his parents, John (Donna) Willey and Bridget (Michael Moore) Harrington; his sister, Erynn Willey; his grandmother, Martha Sharpe; his aunts and uncles, Forrest "Bo" (Laurie) Willey and family, Scott (Cathy) Willey and family, Mark (Danielle) Willey and daughter, Marilyn (Brian) Bassett and family, Dianne (Spencer) Noyes and family, Chuck (Donna) Kelly, Ralph (LeeAnn) Sharpe and family, Margaret (Matt) Bull and family Heather Sharpe and family, his beloved dog Charlotte, and his close friends, Brennah (Cousin), Savion, Evan, Terrill, Tyler, and Nolan.
