Chewelah, WA - Pat Wissink, age 79, passed away on September 30, 2024. A devoted father and friend, he touched the lives of many with his unwavering kindness and generous spirit.
Born on January 11, 1945, Pat spent his youth playing baseball and cherishing the joys of the outdoors. He was an avid little league coach, sharing his love for the game with countless children in the community. His passion for the outdoors was evident in his hobbies, which included cutting firewood, mowing lawns for his neighbors, and taking drives through the woods.
A true embodiment of community spirit, Pat was known for his willingness to lend a hand to those in need. Whether it was shoveling snow from driveways and roofs or reminiscing about the "good ole' days," he always had time for others. His warmth and compassion made him a beloved figure in Chewelah, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by Lorene Wissink (wife), and children, Jeff, Marty, Jodi, Misty and Steve, plus multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless friends who cherish his memory.
A celebration of Pat's life will be held on Saturday 10/26/24 at Faith Community Church at 1:00 PM. Potluck to follow.
Rest in peace, Daddio. Your kindness and love will live on in all of us.

I just found out yesterday of Pat´s passing. First of all I am so sorry for your loss. I was so sorry, too, to have missed his service.
Pat was my cousin....our dads were brothers Frank and Bob.
In my growing up years I spent a great deal of time at Uncle Frank and Aunt Agnes´s house playing with Judy. Those were fun times as I recall. Pat´s baseball glove and mitt were never far away from him and he was always on his way to one game or another...plus it was cool to live right next to all the fields! He ALWAYS had a smile on his face.
We were a year apart in school, he a year older. Our class holds a reunion each year in Chewelah and up until the last year or so Pat would drop in to say hello and visit for a bit. I will miss those times.
