Patsy Clark Obituary

Patsy Carol Clark, 83, of Louisville Kentucky, peacefully departed this life on August 15, 2025. Known for her unwavering love and devotion as a mother and grandmother, Patsy brought joy to all those around her. She was an enthusiastic swimmer and a talented diver, sharing her love for water activities, especially fishing, with family and friends. A dedicated fan of the Louisville Cardinals, she found great happiness in cheering for her favorite teams across football, baseball, and basketball.

Patsy had a vibrant sense of humor and an indomitable spirit, making everyone feel included and cherished. Her true passion, however, lay in her family, with whom she created countless treasured memories. She will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Born on January 28, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky, Patsy was the daughter of Raymond and Helen (Gritton) Clark. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Helen Clark; siblings, Gloria Yates and Linda Adams; her beloved son, Bradley Royse; and grandson, Trey Royse.

Patsy is survived by her loving family, including her daughter, Amy Richardson (Gregory Shank); sons, Todd Allen Royse and Patrick Shawn Royse; grandchildren, Sara Royse, Cody Royse, Brittany Richardson, Meagan Richardson, Melinda Varble, and Kimberly Sebastian; great-grandchildren, Emma Borel and Christopher Borel; along with a host of extended family and friends who will lovingly remember her.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Highway. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday, following which she will be laid to rest at Riverview Baptist Church Cemetery in Coxs Creek, Kentucky.
