Patsy Ruth Isreal, age 92, went to meet her Lord on February 3, 2025.
Patsy was born on October 10, 1932, in Frankfort, IN to Thelma and Harry Koster. She graduated Frankfort High School and worked in the Woolworth "five and dime" in Frankfort until marrying Donald D. Israel on September 2, 1951. She and Don moved to Arlington, IN where they lived until 1973. There, she was a voracious reader, a homemaker, babysitter, and enjoyed league bowling. She and Don began dairy farming in rural Shell Lake, WI in 1973. While in Wisconsin, she enjoyed pen and pencil drawing, painting, making pottery, and crafting. Patsy loved being a farm wife raising crops and milking cows. She worked for 15 years at the Shell Lake Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician. Patsy was in the Clam River Tuesday Club and very active in the community and church with neighbors and friends.
She is survived by her husband Donald, children Joyce (Jake) Jacobs and Thomas (Doreen) Israel, 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Patsy is proceeded in death by her parents, brothers Jacob, Clarence, and Robert, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
The funeral service will be held at Lakeview Methodist Church, 23980 County Rd X, Hertel, WI on February10th at 11:00 AM. In honor of Patsy's wishes, there will be a visitation at the church one hour before the service, followed by interment at the Lakeview Cemetery.
