It is with a lot of hurt and a great loss that we, the children of Patsy Lee Burchett- Jarrell, announce her death on February 20, 2025 at the Salyersville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was born October 30, 1941 to the late Richard and Edna Burchett in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Patsy was married to Chester Green (Ty) Jarrell and they had seven children. She joined the Endicott Freewill Baptist Church and was a faithful member until becoming ill. She was the loving Mother to her children. She is survived by her Daughter: Markeita (Mike) Conn of East Point, Kentucky; Sons: William (Kathy) Jarrell of Sitka, Kentucky and Donnie (Mae) Jarrell of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; Brother: Charles Lee (Roberta) Burchett of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; Sisters: Sally (Dallas) Garrett of Emma, Kentucky and Mary (Connie) James of Johns Creek, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Daniel Goble, April Boggs, William Jonathan Jarrell, Donnie Jarvis, Brandon Reed, Kimberly Adkins, Bradley Jarrell, Ronnie Hall and Lisa Hall; Great Grandchildren: Jillian Goble, Tucker Goble, Camryn Adkins, Carson Adkins, Kayleigh Reed, Candon Reed, Vanessa Hall, Ryan Hall, Jordan Jervis, Isabella Jervis and John Cordell Jervis. She is preceded in death by her son: James Ronnie Jarrell; Daughters: Gladys Harless, Brenda Jarrell Goble and Loretta Jarrell Reed; Brothers: Glen, Otis, Jimmy, Maryland, Sam and Chester Burchett; Sisters: Linda Sherman and Emogene Burchett. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Visitation will begin Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 6pm at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 2pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Prestonsburg, Kentucky with Nathan Lafferty officiating
Burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, Kentucky
