Chico ~ Patsy Annette Johnson, 83, went to be with our Lord Friday, June 21, 2024 in Decatur.
Funeral Service is 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 28th, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial at Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Patsy was born on April 2, 1941 to Charlie and Mary Edna (Helens) Beck in Vineyard, Texas. She was united in marriage to Perry Johnson on October 17, 1959 in Jacksboro. They were together for 56 beautiful years before his passing in 2015. Patsy owned and operated Johnson Grocery in Chico with Perry for numerous years. She was a faithful member at Morris Memorial Methodist Church. Patsy was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and a friend to many that will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her 5 siblings; her husband, Perry Johnson; and her son, Russell Johnson.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Patrick Johnson and wife Golda of Bellevue; her daughter-in-law, Sheryl Johnson of Chico; her grandchildren, Jayme Johnson, Andrea Johnson, Rusty Johnson, Cody Johnson, Adam Johnson, Cortni Thelmon, Heather Scherb, Aden Johnson, and Britney Crye; many great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
