Patsy Lee O'Dell, age 79, of Sparta, Tennessee, entered into her heavenly home on October 31, 2025. She was born on June 21, 1946, in Kingston, Tennessee.
Patsy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose life was a beautiful reflection of her Christian faith. She loved everyone she met and truly never met a stranger. Her gentle spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love for family and friends brought light to all who knew her.
For the past 25 years, Patsy was a dedicated and valued employee of Altium Healthcare, where her compassion, loyalty, and work ethic made her a blessing to her coworkers and patients alike.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Ellis Hamilton and Loney Rebecca Hamilton;brothers Jackie, James, and Paul; sister Frances and adopted grandson Cameron Robbins.
Patsy is survived by her loving husband, Carl "Sonny" O'Dell; her sons Scott (Tracy) O'Dell and Brian O'Dell; and her beloved grandchildren Caitlyn O'Dell, Ryan (Anna) O'Dell and their sons Matteo and Finnley, Callie O'Dell, Beau O'Dell, Reagan Hurd, Noah O'Dell, Becca O'Dell, Parker Bennett and son Rhetley, Kirsten Simms, Kelsey Simms, and Kaitlyn (Josh) Bolton.
Patsy's adopted grandkids: Keann Norris (Brad) Kibby Austin (Frank) and Karly Anne Walker (Garrett)
Patsy's legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
Services will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Oaklawn Funeral Home, Sparta, Tennessee The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 7 pm.
Burial and graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m at Kingston Memorial Gardens. 129 Oak Dr, Kingston, TN 37763 on Wednesday, November 5, 2025
