Patsy Pool

Patsy Pool was born November 3, 1947, in Houston, TX, and went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2024, surrounded by family. Her heart is complete now, being back with her husband, G.W.
Patsy was an active member of Sand Springs Missionary Baptist Church, where she held many positions such as, treasurer, secretary, kitchen coordinator for church camp, and a teacher for Sunday school and vacation bible school. More recently she enjoyed working at her local food pantry, "The Station". Patsy loved her family, friends, loved to cook, visit, help anywhere she could, and she loved to shop on Amazon.
Patsy is survived by her five daughters, Frances Dorsey of Lufkin, TX, Diana (Leon) Burroughs of Damascus, AR, Polly (Michael) Ingram of Enola, AR, Patty (Jimmy) Plummer of Florida and Tina (Doug) Leggett of Damascus, AR; she has 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, one brother, three sisters, three bonus sisters, and a continually growing family, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, G.W. Pool; her parents; her grandchild, Bethany Michelle Hitchcock; and her 4 siblings.
Patsy's service will be held at Sand Springs Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, July 15th at 10:00 am, and a visitation at Wilcox Family Funeral Home on Sunday, July 14th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
