Patti A. Egan

Patricia A. "Patti" Egan, 77, of Coatesville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at her home under hospice care, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Matthew Edward Egan, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.

In addition, Patti is survived by her son Kevin M. Egan and lifelong friend Judy Sicoli.

Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Noel and Eleanor Cunningham Dutt.

While in the Navy, Matt was stationed in San Diego. Patti worked as a teacher's aid at the elementary school Kevin attended. Patti was also the ombudsman for the USS Hewitt DD-966 during its deployment to the South Pacific. She was the liaison between the ship's commanding officer and the crew's families. Before retirement Patti worked at Sartomer Chemical Company in Exton and Berner Construction in Gap.

Patti had an avid interest in Counted Cross Stitch. She also played Mah Jongg for many years. Patti enjoyed RV camping along with friends in the Friends on Wheels Club. Other travels included a self drive Bed and Breakfast tour of Ireland and a cruise to the Caribbean.

A Celebration of Life will be announced later.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Patti's name to Mainline Health Hospice.
