Patti Ann Mank

In loving memory of Patti Ann Mank, 85, who passed away in the early morning hours of July 21, 2024, in her sleep after her struggle with cancer. She was born in San Francisco, CA, to Raymond O' Brien and Ramona Velarde. She had 2 sisters, Barbara Farrell and Sharon Tharp, and a brother Bob O'Brien. She was raised in California, but for the last 22 years of her life, Florence, Texas has been her home.
Ms. Patti, as everyone called her, leaves behind two daughters and a son, Debbra Jean Rinard-Evans, Catherine Louise O'Brien-Allen and Christopher David Mank; 8 Grandchildren; Jeremy Caldera, Amber Caldera, Antonia Caldera, Arlene Mank Renfroe, Amanda Lambert, Clinton Mank, Tyler Mank and Teah Mank. Twelve Great Grandchildren; Ariana Caldera, Selicia Caldera, Andrew Caldera, Marcelino Caldera, Nathaniel Caldera, Aniyah Caldera, Xavier Caldera, Brenden Caldera, Evan Valencia, Matthew Daley, and Scott Fisher. Four Great-Great-Grandchildren, Victor Caldera, Ezra Hodge, Raelzynne Hodge and Paisley Rae Fisher.
She was married to a wonderful man, Clifford D. Mank, on October 21, 1961 at 22 years old. They were married 49 wonderful years. Sadly, Ms. Patti had been a widow for the last 14 years. Ms. Patti was known for her kindness and willingness to help. She gave freely and always had a place for you at the table. She was an excellent cook.
She dedicated herself to her church and her time to charity. She particularly loved to participate and work the retreats for the church. She had a passion for children and would work at the YMCA in the summer and volunteer at school games the rest of the year. She was nothing short of a giver and loved to learn and do new things. She truly enjoyed passing on the knowledge of the skills she learned.
She was a spiritually and physically strong woman. She didn't let much get her down and through anything and everything, she would keep going. She will be missed and remembered. She is at peace today with many loved ones cherishing her memory.
