Carol Suzanna Wrobleski Walker
With hearts full of love, we celebrate the beautiful life of Carol Suzanna Wrobleski Walker, of Victoria, Texas, who peacefully passed away on September 14, 2025. Carol was born in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, to the late Jerome and Lucille Wrobleski, and from the very beginning, she radiated warmth, kindness, and a nurturing spirit that would define her life.
Carol's greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly survived by her husband of 68 years, Jack Walker; children, Stacy Stuntz (Tim), Tracy Florence (Reagan), and Brian Walker; her brothers, Ron Wrobleski (Tesa) and Jay Wrobleski (Donna); her grandchildren, Ashley Tucker, Sasha Tucker, T.J. Stuntz (Amber), Halie Stuntz (Hayden), Kyler Florence, Kalli Flores (Hayden), Kassidy Partain (Michael), and Kade Florence (Morgan); and her precious great-grandchildren, Ellowyn, Phoebe, Lennox, and Lucas. She also leaves behind her sisters-in-law, Sally Wrobleski, Tesa Wrobleski and Donna Wrobleski; and her nieces and nephews, Lori Walker Sartain (Bruce), Sheryl Rozier (Joe), Greg Wrobleski, Jeff Wrobleski (Mary), Jana Roso (Stephen), Alisa Stanford (Gary), and Jillian Hargreaves (Byron).
She is reunited in heaven with her beloved parents; her children, Jack Walker II and Valerie Tucker; her brother, Regis Wrobleski; and her nephew, David Wrobleski.
Carol spent her early years in Pennsylvania before moving to Texas City and later building her life in Victoria. She attended the University of Texas in Austin before marrying Jack Daniel Walker, and together they raised a family rooted in love. Carol poured her heart into motherhood, making her home a place of laughter, creativity, and warmth. Though she devoted much of her life to being a stay-at-home mom, she also shared her care with countless children as a physical education teacher at Stanley Elementary School.
A woman of remarkable creativity and talent, Carol brought beauty into everything she touched. She painted, stitched, designed stained glass, and even became known for creating political GIFs online that reached people around the world. She adored gardening, filling her home with vibrant plants, and cherished her little Yorkie, Tini, who brought her endless joy.
Carol also had a love for adventure and treasured her many travels. Some of her fondest memories included family beach trips, cruising, and adventurous trips to Mexico. She also cherished the years she spent in Puerto Rico while Jack was stationed there for work, building friendships and embracing the culture. Closer to home, she was involved in her children's lives spending time at sporting events and volunteering as a room mother and chaperoning countless school activities, including trips with the Victoriadores drill team.
Above all, Carol will be remembered for her gentle heart, her unwavering devotion to her Catholic faith, family, and her ability to make everyone feel loved and cared for. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured, the art she created, and the countless lives she touched.
