Paul was born December 17, 1954, in Knoxville, Iowa, to Wayne and Ruth Bankus. He passed away August 5, 2025, at the MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. Paul is survived by his brother, John (Mary) Bankus; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents: Wayne and Ruth; and siblings: Connie Hines and Fred Bankus.
