Mr. Paul Allen Carter, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on June 6, 1965, to the late Leona and Charles Carter.
Paul is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Naomi Carter, who has been his rock and lifelong companion. Together, they raised a beautiful family and created countless cherished memories filling their home with love and laughter. He will be lovingly remembered by his children who his loves more than life, Christal Eade and her husband Andy, Brittany Cook and her husband Brandon, and Dalton Carter and his fiancée Laurel Partyka. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Conner and Hayden Eade, Lane and Hunter Cook, who will miss their grandfather's playful spirit and boundless affection. Paul will also be greatly missed by his cherished dog and best buddy, Si.
Though predeceased by his son Jacob, grandson Cullen, and brother Ricky Thomas, Paul's memory is honored and kept alive by his siblings Randy Carter, Mandy Allen and her husband Tony, Randy Thomas and his wife Sharon, Gloria Wade, and Phil Thomas. His nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members will forever hold onto the joy and warmth he brought into their lives.
Paul dedicated several years of service to the City of Conyers, where he was not only a respected colleague but also a true friend to many. An avid fisherman and hunter, Paul found solace and excitement in the great outdoors. His love for nature was only surpassed by his love for people. Known for his sense of humor, "Pauline" was an all-around goofball who delighted in making others laugh. His anecdotes and jokes were the highlight of family gatherings and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Service for Paul will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell & Son Funeral home with Mack Goss and Brother Jimmy Hammond officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 1:00PM until 3:00PM prior to the service
