Paul G. Conver, age 64, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Paul was born on October 18, 1960, to Nancy Kane Conver and Donald “Pat” Conver in Kansas City, KS.

Paul graduated in 1979 from Highland High in Sugarhouse, UT. After high school, Paul went to SLCC for Diesel Mechanics. Paul was a gear head at heart and loved nothing more than turning wrenches. Paul ultimately became an over-the-road truck driver for over 27 years where he was able to showcase his mischievous behavior. He was a kid at heart and enjoyed life to the fullest. You knew you were in for a wild conversation if it started with, “I’ve got a quiz kid question for you.” Paul’s mischievous over-the-road behavior was unmatched, so much so he convinced many people there were U.S Battleships on I-70 in Pennsylvania. He loved nothing more than to get a “razz” out of anyone he spoke to.

Our family and I would like to Thank his countless doctors and nurses for showing nothing but kindness, care, love, and getting a kick out of Dad’s personality with the medical staff.

Paul is survived by his children Enaka (James) Lasater, Vanessa (Trevor) Cahill, Brianna (Scott) McDade, Dustin (Kassera) Morris, Ashley (Dean) Morris. Paul had 10 grandkids with one on the way and 1 great-grandson. His Mom, brother and sisters. His long-time best friend of over 35 years, Elbert Durfee.

A very special and lovingly Thanks to his Caregiver “Mary Poppin’s”, Michelle Kenley who went to many doctors’ visits, sat with him at chemo treatments, and spent endless nights in the hospital to make sure Paul was not alone.

Paul was preceded in death by his dad and grandparents.

Services are to be announced at a later date.
