Paul Craddock Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Moreland Funeral Home - Westerville on Dec. 17, 2024.
Beloved Father, Husband, Grandfather, Son, and friend.
With a heavy heart, I would like to announce the passing of Paul Allen Craddock, 60, of Centerburg, Ohio who passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024 surrounded by his loving family and his dog Gracie.
Paul was born April 14, 1964. Paul lived a full life of love, laughter and resilience. Paul grew up in Westerville, where he graduated from Westerville South High School in 1982. Shortly after, he learned that his God given gift was in excavation as a heavy equipment operator. Paul mastered them all and took pride in his work. He was one of the best and missed it up to the day he died.
Paul is survived by his loving family, including myself (Paula Craddock), mother (Margaret Craddock), father (Paul Craddock), his three daughters (Jaclyn Craddock, Jennica Craddock, and Samantha Moody Ryan), and his seven grandchildren (Kaydence Cherry, Khloe Cherry, Kennedy Cherry, KC Cherry, Lucas Hilditch, Vivian Hilditch, and Mason Moody).
Paul had a passion for arrowhead hunting, a hobby that he learned from his dad, along with his love of Red-Tailed Hawks and all of God's creations. He spent much of his spare time in nature where he created a beautiful collection of his findings. Paul shared his love for nature with his family.
Paul was an amazing husband, adored son, devoted father, loving grandfather, and a friend to many. He was a man of immense humor and admirable strength. Paul was hardworking and passionate. He loved God and his family. Paul was dedicated and fought hard to stay well wanting to make more memories with his family.
Because Paul loved the spring we will celebrate his life in the Spring of 2025.
Although Paul is no longer with us, he will live in our hearts forever. Knowing his pain is over it gives us peace and our precious memories will keep him alive in our hearts and daily lives. Our faith will help us heal until we see him again.
In lieu of flowers, please email me Paula Craddock memories and pictures of Paul that you would like to share and add to our memorial journal.
