Paul A. Cutler Jr.

Paul A. Cutler, Jr. passed away peacefully at home at the age of 86 on October, 3, 2025. He was the only son of Paul A. Cutler, Sr. and Muriel E. (Kreimendahl) Cutler. Paul was the devoted husband of Marilyn "Merry" (Jackson) Cutler for 50 years until her death in 2018. He is survived by his children, Paul A. Cutler III and Melissa Campbell and her husband Jeff. Paul loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren: Aiden Campbell and his wife, Jessica, and their son Rory plus Owen Campbell, his wife Alexandra and their daughter, Blake.

Paul was a lifelong resident of Foxboro, Mass. and a 1957 graduate of Foxboro High School. He proudly served in the US Air Force from 1958 - 1963 with the 4126th Strategic Wing based in California. He had a 25 year career as a Letter Carrier in Foxboro and was a member of the NALC union for over 50 years. Paul and Merry loved square dancing and owning Annie's Book Stop in Sharon. Paul was a member of the South Shore Model Railway Club and the New Haven Railroad Historical & Technical Association. He enjoyed railfanning all his life. He was an avid reader and a pessimistic gardener but always grew plenty of vegetables. Paul was a member of the Foxboro Founder's Day Committee from its beginning and enjoyed the celebration of his home town every year. Paul had an active retirement with multiple small jobs keeping him busy at the library and the Community Farm Stand. He enjoyed going to the YMCA for a quick bike and a swim.

A wake will be held Friday, October 10 from 4 - 7pm at Roberts Funeral Home in Foxboro with a small service held at 6:30pm that evening. Burial will be private. Donations can be made to the South Shore Model Railway Club, 52 Bare Cove Park Dr., Hingham, MA 02043.
