Marna was born on August 19, 1943 in Norwood and was a graduate of Foxborough High School, Class of 1961. She and her husband Robert T. Lucas were married at the Barton Chapel of the Bethany Congregational Church in Foxborough in 1967. She was a long-time resident of Foxborough and a winter resident of Bradenton Beach, FL.
Marna was employed for many years as a food service supervisor for the Foxborough Public Schools and enjoyed interacting with all of the students on a daily basis, always offering a smile. She worked for over 15 years as a funeral director assistant at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home and was a former member of the Foxboro Fire Department Women's Auxiliary. Marna was most happy when spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Beloved wife over 58 years of the late Robert T. Lucas, who passed away on June 13, 2025. Loving mother of Jeffrey Dadmun and his wife Marjorie of Foxborough, Mark Dadmun and his wife Stacie of Gilford, NH, Robert T. Lucas, Jr. of Foxborough and Julie and her husband Chad Martin of Foxborough. Devoted grandmother of Laura and her husband Trevor, Matthew, Jonathan, Nicholas, Abby and Braden. Loving great grandmother of Logan and Samuel. Sister of Marjorie and her husband Michael Sutherlin, Judith and her husband Frank Perreault and the late Kenneth Duke.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, October 15 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street in Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM at St. Mary's Church, 58 Carpenter Street in Foxborough. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery in Foxborough.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marna's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
