It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beautiful sister, Danielle Louise Cavanaugh, who left this world on August 24, 2025, at the age of 65, surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was born on September 30, 1959, in Boston, MA to the late Joseph and Clara "Lois" (Donovan) Cavanaugh. She filled the lives of those around her with love, laughter, and generosity.

Danielle grew up in Foxborough graduating from Foxborough High School Class of 1977 and continued on to college where she earned her degree as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She went on to work in healthcare making a positive difference in the lives of so many with her kindness and encouragement allowing her patients to thrive.

Danielle most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. She will always be remembered for her ability to bring fun, laughter and sarcasm to those around her. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand, provide unconditional love and support and had the ability to make everyone feel special. Danielle's generous heart built the strongest connections in her life.

She is survived by her brother Joe and his wife Chantana 'Gai' Cavanaugh, sister Karen 'Casey' and her husband Joe Bortolotti, sister Dianne Cavanaugh and brother Kevin and his wife Christine Cavanaugh. Her nephews Matthew, Joey, Justin, Daniel, Adam, Nick, Josh, niece Ashley and her fiancé James, great nephew Jack and many treasured friends all who will forever hold her memory close. She was preceded in death by her father Joseph, mother Lois and youngest brother Brian Cavananugh.

Though she is no longer with us in person, Danielle's spirit will live on in every story shared, every smile remembered, and every heart she touched.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough, MA.
