Robert T. Lucas, age 82, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025 surrounded by the comfort of his loving family at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL. He was the son of the late Everett L. Lucas, Sr. and Mabel (Dillon) Lucas.
Bob was born on December 8, 1942 in Norwood and was a graduate of Foxborough High School, Class of 1960. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. A life-long resident of Foxborough, Bob was a dedicated firefighter for the Foxborough Fire Department. He married his wife, Marilyn "Marna" Lee (Duke) Lucas in 1967 at the Barton Chapel in Foxborough
Bob enjoyed landscaping, fishing on the Cape Cod Canal and entertaining family and friends. Bob most enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Beloved husband of Marna Lucas. Loving father of Jeffrey Dadmun and his wife Marji of Foxborough, Mark Dadmun and his wife Stacie of Gilford, NH, Rob Lucas and his companion Carly of Foxborough and Julie and her husband Chad Martin of Foxborough. Devoted grandfather of Laura and her husband Trevor, Matthew, Jonathan, Nicholas, Abby and Braden. Great grandfather of Logan and Samuel.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, June 26 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM at St. Mary's Church, 58 carpenter Street, Foxborough. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Foxborough.
