Paul Noris Franciosa, age 33, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Tampa, Florida on October 16, 2024.
Paul was born on March 29, 1991 at Norwood Hospital. He graduated from Foxborough High School in 2009, after which he engaged in architectural studies at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, as well as criminal justice studies at Bridgewater State University.
Educated at both Universities, Paul was wise beyond his years, and people of all stages of life often sought his advice and counsel. He ended his college years with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a passion for sales. Paul became uniquely accomplished at his sales job with Nixon Medical, eventually earning the responsibility of opening a brand-new company branch in Tampa, Florida. His success and achievements in such a short time is nothing less than extraordinary. Today, the Nixon Medical branch in Tampa, Florida is a huge success because of Paul.
Paul was an avid golfer, playing on the varsity team in High School and continuing his devotion to the sport into adulthood. Most of all, however, Paul adored his family and friends and treasured spending time with them in any way he could.
Beloved son of John Franciosa of Foxborough and Diane (Tate) Franciosa of Poha, Hawaii. Loving brother of Sarah Franciosa, and uncle to her son, Anthony. Grandson of John and Rita Franciosa of Easton, and the late Colonel George Tate and Alice Culbertson. Adored nephew to Rosemary Johnson of Indian Trail, North Carolina, Dina and Mike Imperatore of Easton, Lisa and Michael Mazzola of Providence, Rhode Island, Mark and Jen Franciosa of Sharon, Cathy Tate of Huntsville, AL and George Tate of Gulf Shores, Alabama. Dear cousin to Matthew and Michael Johnson and Lewis and Emily Tate and Luca Franciosa. Great nephew to Virginia and Frank Morton.

One of my fondest memories is when Diane invited my son Alec and I to the Cape for the weekend. As Diane and I enjoyed a little hair of the dog, while lying along the beachside, Paul, Sarah and Alec played in the ocean. Well, it wasn´t long before Paul and Sarah began arguing and they came running up. Sarah whining and Paul ticked off! Allowing a few moments of debate, Diane then announced, "OK, that´s enough, now y´all shut up and go play or we´ll leave!" There was immediate silence and they ran off to play. My headache was so grateful! And the lady lying close by, a total stranger said, " that´s some of f the best parenting I´ve ever seen!"
Diane and I looked at each other and just busted out laughing!

Diane and I were pregnant together and I am devastated that she has lost her son. Our children, Paul, Cary, Nick and Sarah spent many hours playing together in that wonderful bonus room in Foxboro and on the Cape. I have nothing but wonderful memories of our years together and of handsome, fun Paul. It just isn't fair. I am so very sorry.

I met Paul at Waterford on the Fourth of July. He was my first real friend in college. We spent a lot of time together during those years with too many great memories to count. Blue Mountain State, Black and Milds. His sweet, sweet dog Luna. The house on Hale Street. Everything with Paulie was comfortable, warm, genuine and so, so much fun.
He made such an impact on my life, as he did everyone he met. You are so loved and so very missed.
