Paul E. Fredericks Sr.

Paul E. Fredericks, Sr, 88 of Findlay passed away peacefully at Serenity Springs of Arlington on August 21, 2025, at 8:00 PM. Paul was born in Findlay to the late Orville and Anna Madalene (Feucht) Frederick. On February 12, 1958, he married the late Mary K. Fredericks, who passed November 12, 2021. They had been married for 63 years.
Paul is survived by two sons; Paul (Barbara) Fredericks, Jr., of Boynton Beach, FL, David (Kathryn) Fredericks of Lexington, KY, siblings; Wanda Dyer, Sharon (Ed) Flick, Charles (Nancy) Frederick, Violet Weaver, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Kathryn (Taylor) Gratz and fathers-in-law; Frank Walters, Clarence Boggs and William Gratz, brothers; Chester Frederick and Robert Frederick, sisters; Roberta Frederick and Patricia Frederick, brother-ion-law, Bob Dyer, nephews; Randall Christman, Scott Christman, Jeffrey Dyer, Scott Dyer and nieces; Kimberly Dyer and Roberta Frederick.
Paul joined the U.S. Air Force in 1955 and served in various places in the states and around the world for nine years. Following military years, he was employed with Hancock County Engineers for 30 years and then National Lime and Stone, Co. Later in life, he proudly obtained his G.E.D. to complete his high school graduation requirements for Findlay High School, Class of 1956.
Paul was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for over 60 years and the Findlay Moose Lodge # 698, receiving his Lifetime Member Certificate. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and watching westerns and his favorite teams; The Ohio State University Buckeyes, The Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians (never calling them the Guardians).
He loved talking with people and always had a funny story to share. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Corey Kershner officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery where full military rites will be conducted by the Hancock-County Veterans Memorial Squad.
