It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Paul Hardy Goff, age 78, of Covington, Louisiana, who peacefully entered into eternal rest on March 23, 2025. Paul was the beloved husband of Joan Marie Even Goff for 46 years. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
He was the proud father of Paul (Krystal) Goff and Christopher (Christina) Goff. His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren, Katelyn Goff and Seth (Rachel) Goff. Paul was also preceded in death by his parents, former Representative Hardy Nathaniel Goff and Audrey Wiley Goff, and his brother, Curtis Larry Goff. He is survived by his siblings, Jim Goff and Ramona Bond, who will always remember his kind heart and gentle spirit.
A proud United States Marine Corps veteran, Paul served his country during the Vietnam War, embodying honor and bravery. After his military service, he worked alongside his family in the family-owned music shop, where he was known for his expertise in tuning pianos. His meticulous attention to detail was matched only by his desire to help others, a trait that extended far beyond his work.
Paul was a man of deep faith and love for Jesus Christ. His life was marked by a selfless commitment to helping those in need, always putting others before himself. His kindness, humility, and unwavering generosity touched the lives of all who knew him.
Paul’s memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all those who were fortunate to cross his path. The memorial service will be held at Bagnell and Sons Funeral Home on Saturday April 5, 2025 with visitation beginning at 10:00am and a service at 12:00pm. Interment at Bagnell Cemetery.
May his soul rest in peace, and may his legacy of love and service continue to inspire us all.
