Paul E. Gordon, Sr.,

Age 75, of Louisville, passed away Tues., Aug. 19, 2025. He was born Sept. 24, 1949, in Canton, a son of the late Stephen Gordon and Beulah (Dellinger) Gordon Cook. Paul retired from Republic Steel after 25 years service, where he was a mechanic on locomotive cranes that lifted trains. He was also the owner of the Village Dutchman Restaurant in Dalton, and had worked for Dollar Bank. Survived by his wife, Nancy Gordon; one daughter, Kristen (Kyle) Hartley; one son, Paul (Kristy) Gordon, Jr.; one sister, Betty (Ron) Muller; one half-sister, Linda (Tim) Gaylor; five grandchildren, Cameryn Hartley, Morgan Hartley, Taylor Gordon, Josh Gordon, and Colton Crihfield; and two great grandchildren, Hank and Raelynn. Services will be held Mon. at 10am in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home. Interment in Warstler Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the service, from 9-10am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul's memory may be made to: Humane Society of Stark County, 5100 Peach St NE, Louisville, OH 44641. Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
