Paul S. Graham, age 74, of Oskaloosa, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at his home in Oskaloosa under hospice care. He was born on November 6, 1950, at Sigourney Hospital the son of Capt and Sunshine (Chrisman) Graham. Paul attended Sigourney High School and graduated with the Class of 1968. On August 4, 1973, he was united in marriage to Margie Beth Garman. They shared 46 years of marriage until Margie passed away in July of 2020.
After graduating high school, Paul went to work for Clow Valve Company in Oskaloosa for 38 years until a medical issue caused him to retire. He managed to stay busy and always had a side project to make a little extra income. He also had a knack for finding deals. He was a member of the Rose Hill Community Church. Paul loved wrestling and was the only Graham to make it to the state podium multiple times. He also supported the Oskaloosa Youth Wrestling program. Paul was a Trump supporter and enjoyed playing the Powerball Lottery.
He is survived by his children, Mathew (Tara ) Graham, Lisa Graham, Brandon Graham and Brady Graham, all of Oskaloosa; his grandchildren, Dominic Braida, Easten Graham, Amaya Graham, Kaiden Parker and Railey Graham; a sister, Carla (Dale) Sytsma and a brother, Kelly (Sandy) Graham, and many nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Margie; 3 children, Melissa Graham and twins, Michael and Andrew Graham; his parents; Capt and Sunshine Graham; a sister, Paula Hunter; 3 brothers, Bobby Graham, Pat Graham and Roy Graham; a niece, Amy Graham and a nephew, Jamie Graham.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with Pastor Aaron Walker officiating. Burial will be at Garrett Cemetery following the service. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be on Friday, May 30, 2025, beginning after 1:00 p.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel with Paul's family present from 5:00 p.m-7:00 p.m. Friday evening to greet relatives and guests. Memorials may be made to the family and will be distributed to some of Paul's favorite charities.
