His Legacy Paul Bernard Hanner, 81, passed away May 9, 2024. He was born on June 29, 1942, in Laurium, Michigan to Adrian Hanner and Lorraine (Forget) Hanner. Paul proudly served his country for 4 years in the Navy. Paul married the love of his life, Judy Richardson, on October 14, 1977, in Howell, Michigan. He will be remembered as man of strong faith as a member of Grace Lutheran Church, who had a great sense of humor. Paul spent 30 years protecting and serving his community with the Livingston County Sheriff's Department and was a proud member of the Howell Elks Club for over 50 years. He loved to play golf and have morning coffee with his friends at Howell Auto Center. Paul took pride in his home and was very knowledgeable when it came to building things or doing home repairs.
His Family Paul will be missed by his loving wife, Judy; his daughter, Susie (Mike) Hoyer; brother, Patrick Hanner; nieces, Kristi, Chelsea, Kara and nephews, Jim, Jon, Kevin, and Jeff. He is preceded in death by his parents, Adrian and Lorraine Hanner; brothers, Richard Hanner and Bill Hanner.
His Farewell Paul's family and friends will gather Friday, May 17, 2024 from 4:00-8:00pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 312 Prospect St. in Howell, MI. His Community Farewell will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at (10:00am gathering) 11:00am at Grace Lutheran Church. Pastor Ken Greble will serve as Celebrant.
