Paul was not just a farmer but a man of many joys. He loved riding his side-by-side, camping, playing cards with friends, and most importantly, spending time with his beloved family. He was a rice farmer and cattle rancher at heart who also devoted 27 years of service to the Vermilion Parish Police Jury. His laughter and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will continue Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 8:00 AM until the service at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Lucas Hebert, Jace Hebert, Lane Hebert, Slade Hebert, Grant Callahan, and Dylan Callahan. Honorary pallbearers will be his great grandchildren.
