Age 83 of Elmira, NY, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sandria; children Betty (Donald) Montgomery of Elmira, Donald Hess of Ohio, Lisa (Jeffery) Mahler of Horseheads and Michael (Stacy) Hess of Indiana; grandchildren Paul (Erynn) Montgomery, Christine Montgomery, Matthew Hess, and sisters Ashley and Airen, Tiffany Mahler, Chelsey (Chris) Stroell, Jessica Hess and Michaela Hess; great grandchildren Logan and Ella Stroell. Paul was employed with Allied Van Lines and retired from the Horseheads Central School Bus Garage. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Fitzsimmons Cemetery.
Their dog Minnie stayed by their sides as their loyal protector. Dad will always live on in our hearts and memories. We will miss you dad.

So sorry to hear about Paul's passing.We used to get together at Paul and Boots home,sharing much laughter during our card games or just visiting.We watched all the kids grow up and have families of their own.As life goes,we unfortunately lost touch with Paul and Boots,but occasionally would get an update from Betty. Boots,so very sorry about your loss- please take care of yourself and know we love you
