Paul F. Hines

Paul F. Hines, 78 years old of Edgewater, FL, passed away at home on December 4, 2025, with his wife, three children and grandson at his side. Paul is survived by his wife, Mary Margaret; son Paul Jr and Lauren, daughter Julia Rozman and husband Don, daughter Holly Slater and husband Rich; Grandchildren Brandon and Morgan Slater and Wyatt Rozman; Great-grandchildren Anthony and Ryan Slater; brother Randy Hines and his wife Regina.

Paul was a US Air Force Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War stateside. He attended The Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA, where he met his loving wife, Margaret, and they began their life together. They moved on to Pittsburgh, PA, and Marietta, GA, where Paul worked as a sales engineer for Elwin G. Smith, a division of Cyclops Corp, before returning to his hometown of Smithfield, PA to raise their family in the home he personally crafted and constructed while working for and eventually retiring from United Dairy (formerly Fike's Dairy) of Uniontown. Their retirement years were spent together in Edgewater, FL where they made many wonderful friends who became a part of their family. In his spare time, Paul also worked for BassPro, thus extending his friendship circle.

Paul was an avid fisherman who enjoyed the beautiful boating and shrimping opportunities with his wife. He also loved to golf with his wife, family and buddies. Paul was a loving and proud Father and Grandfather, cherishing family more than anything else. Paul touched many lives with his quick wit and sharp humor.

Paul, we will surely miss you!

Private funeral arrangements are being held at Baldwin Brothers of New Smyrna Beach, FL.

A Memorial will be held Monday, Dec 29, 2025, at the Diamond Ballroom in Uniontown, PA from 1-3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Paul's name (donate.cancer.org).
