Paul Roger Kern, known affectionately as Paul to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2024, in Ozark, Missouri, at the age of 61. Born on August 29, 1962, in Santa Paula, California, Paul's life was a testament to the values of love, faith, and thoughtfulness that he held dear.
Paul spent his career as a skilled tile setter, a trade where he not only showcased his craftsmanship but also formed lasting relationships with his colleagues and those within the association. His work was more than a job; it was a canvas where he expressed his meticulous nature and his commitment to creating beauty in the homes of others.
Outside of his professional life, Paul was an avid movie watcher and reader, passions that allowed him to explore worlds beyond his own. His love for stories was only matched by the narrative of his own life, which was filled with moments of kindness and generosity that touched everyone he met.
Paul's memory will be cherished and kept alive by his loving family. He is survived by his sisters, Lisa Kern and Kim Stone (Mike Stone); his brother, Mark Kern; his niece, Lauren Cooper (Seth Santana); his nephew, Michael Cooper (Randa Howell); and his great-niece, Layah Cooper. Each of them will remember Paul for the unique and special bond they shared, and for the unwavering support he provided throughout their lives.
Paul's presence was a blessing to all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire those he has left behind. His life was a reflection of the loving, faith-filled, and thoughtful person he was, and his legacy will be honored by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Paul Roger Kern will be deeply missed, but the light he brought into this world will shine on.
