Paul Kwilecki Jr.

Paul Kwilecki, Jr., 72, of Bainbridge, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025.

The graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Oak City Cemetery with Mr. Chris Beam officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.bryantfuneralga.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan Counseling Center of SWGA, St. Judes Children Research Hospital, or Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society.

Paul Kwilecki, Jr. was born March 9, 1953, in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Paul Sr. and Charlotte Williford Kwilecki. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1971. Paul spent many years working at I Kwilecki Sons and loved working there. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Georgia, a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Florida, and ultimately his Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Florida. Paul was an accomplished courtroom attorney devoting many years of private practice, and as public defender, and enjoyed defending the underdog.

Outside of the courtroom, Paul found peace outdoors and loved fishing, hunting and boating. He enjoyed exercising and weightlifting and was known for his strength. Music was a constant companion, and he was a talented guitarist and French horn player. Above all, his greatest pride was his family. Paul was a devoted son, brother, husband, and father.

Survivors include his daughter, Sarah Jane Kwilecki; Sarah Jane's mother, Jane Kwilecki; his siblings, Dr. Susan Kwilecki, Frances Kwilecki, and Elizabeth & Don Whaley; and his niece & nephews, Charlotte & Andrew and William Paul. Paul was preceded in death by his parents.
