I just came across this. I am so sorry for your loss! I had Mr. Linehan for 6th grade in the late 70s. It was my first year in public school. I LOVED HIS CLASS!! He had a Greek mythology book that I seriously wasn't interested in reading- but when he assigned it, I couldn't put it down!! My love for Greek history has been passed down to my son- who wanted to know everything!!
He was a stern teacher- but honestly, I was lazy at times..
He fixed that immediately!
I have wonderful memories of his class- But we are not in charge.
Mr Linehan is resting with God in peace! Please heal!

Sixth grade was a challenging year for me and I went on a kind of protest strike academically, except in Mr. Linehan's class. He always seemed to be enjoying himself, and he was always curious and interested in all of us. He was a bright light. I'm thankful to have come under his influence. May he live forever in God's light and love!

Our condolences to the Linehan family on the loss of Paul who was a first class guy. The memories we have of the trips we took are priceless our trip to Ireland where Paul's family was from was a trip to remember. I would love to listen to Paul talk about his growing up in Somerville at Brick Bottom where He still could remember almost all the people's names in that neighbor hood. To a loving Husband and family man God speed, till we meet again Mark and Maryann Wall.
