Mr. Paul M. "Pelle" Pelletier, 52, of Rockport died unexpectedly at home on Thursday morning, April 23, 2015. Paul was born on August 27, 1962 in Gloucester, son of the late Arthur "Artie" and Kathleen "Kitty" (Blair) Pelletier. He was a resident of Gloucester for most of his life prior to moving to Rockport. He was a graduate of Gloucester High School. He could do just about anything. He was an avid reader and could read 2 to 3 books a week. He also enjoyed the outdoors with his sons Tyler and Trevor, which included fishing, camping and hiking. He always had a story to tell them. Paul was also very proud of his oldest son Kevin and the man that he has become. He was ecstatic to see him marry the love of his life last year. Paul will always be known as a man with a big heart who would do anything to help anyone. He is survived by his three loving sons, Kevin Pelletier and his wife Amanda and Tyler and Trevor Pelletier. He is also survived by his two sisters, Maureen LaChance and her husband Mark and Marilyn Pecunies and her husband Peter, as well as his loving Aunt and Uncle, Joyce and Ronald Cram. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews including Ryan LaChance and his wife Andrea, Katie LaChance and her fiance Michael Elwell, Cody LaChance, Wendy Lafond and her husband Wayne and Jill McFarlane and her husband Charland. He also leaves behind his great nieces and great nephews, Haley and Emma LaChance, Makenzie and Zackary Lafond and Devante and Justyce McFarlane. Not only did Paul have his family, but he had a tremendous amount of friends that he considered his extended family. Paul's Memorial Service will be in the Pike-Newhall Funeral Home, 61 Middle St. Gloucester on Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Memorial Visitation will be Wednesday 5-7 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Paul's Children c/o Maureen LaChance 33 Pleasant St. Rockport, MA 01966.
