It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Father, and dear friend, Retired Sergeant Paul Mewborn. Paul was a man of great integrity, strength, and dedication. He served 20 years in the U.S. Army, where he exemplified courage and commitment, before dedicating another 20 years of his life to serving his community as a Deputy with the Indian River County Sheriff's Office. His unwavering sense of duty and compassion touched the lives of all who knew him.
Paul was not only a devoted father, but he also loved spending time with his son, especially through his passion for cooking and his love of sports. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of crossing his path. His legacy of service, love, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to call him their father, friend, and mentor.
