Obituary published on Legacy.com by Holloway Funeral Home - Pocomoke City on Dec. 16, 2025.
Paul Leo Molle, known affectionately as Paul to his friends and loved ones, passed away peacefully in Pocomoke City, MD, surrounded by the memories of a life fully and joyfully lived. Born in Baltimore, MD, Paul's journey through life was marked by his unwavering spirit of adventure and the deep bonds of family which he cherished till his last breath.
Paul's legacy is honored by his beloved wife of 43 years, Audrey Molle, who together with Paul, traversed the globe, sharing experiences and creating memories in countries such as England, France, and Egypt. Their shared passion for travel was only matched by their love for their family of pets, including 13 cats and a cherished turtle, four of whom are still living, bringing joy and warmth to their home.
Preceded in death by his wife Audrey Molle, his parents James Molle Sr. and Grace Molle, his brother James Molle Jr., and sister Betty Grace McDonough, Paul's memory will be kept alive by his adoring nieces Patricia Hill and Greta Mavronis, his nephew James McDonough, and his devoted neighbor, Jim Murray, each of whom will miss Paul's friendly demeanor and courageous heart.
Paul's life was one of service and dedication. He proudly served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the Army's 82nd Airborne Division, known as the All Americans, before continuing his commitment to the nation in the Army Reserves. His military career spanned over three decades, a testament to his adventurous spirit and his deep sense of duty.
Beyond his military service, Paul was an artist at heart. His love for carving and painting birds on driftwood showcased his artistic talents, leaving behind a legacy of beauty that reflected his keen eye for detail and his appreciation for nature's splendors.
Those who knew Paul would describe him as the epitome of friendliness, a man whose adventurous soul led him to embrace life's challenges with courage and grace. His stories, laughter, and the easy way he connected with people will be deeply missed by all who had the fortune to cross paths with him.
Paul Leo Molle's life story is one of love, service, and artistry. He lived with intention, embracing each day with the kind of enthusiasm that inspired others to explore the world with curiosity and joy. As we bid farewell to Paul, we celebrate a life well-lived, a journey well-traveled, and a heart that has left an indelible mark on the tapestry of countless lives.
