Paul D. Moore, age 88, of Niceville, FL, passed away on January 20, 2026. Paul was born on October 25, 1937, to parents Lonzo and Louvara Moore. He graduated from Beavercreek High School and Miami University (OH), where he played baseball and met the love of his life, Jill. They were married for 64 years.

Paul will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all he met. Between high school and college, Paul served in the Marines and later tried out for the Cincinnati Reds during spring training. He loved coaching, especially his granddaughters' teams, and was an avid Atlanta Braves and Falcons fan.

Paul worked in the denim clothing business his entire life up till the day he passed. He was known by his colleagues as compassionate, knowledgeable, and hardworking, but most of all as a lifelong friend. Paul was passionate about encouraging his children and grandchildren to prioritize God, Family and Health.

Paul was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Linda Roth; his wife, Jill; his children, Todd (Jean) Moore and Shana (Larry) Wilson; and his grandchildren, Amanda (Matthew) Parker, Michael Daher, Zachary Moore, Jack Moore, Bridgette (Cody) Shaffer, Kyle Wilson, and Nathan Wilson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on his birthday, October 25th, at Big Canoe, GA, where his ashes will be scattered in the woods. He will surely be smiling down on his family and friends.

The family is grateful for the wonderful care provided by Vitas Hospice and Comfort Keepers. Expressions of sympathy and support may be shared online at www.mclaughlintwincities.com (https://www.mclaughlintwincities.com).
