Paul W. Perdue, 84 of Gainesville died Friday July 5, 2024, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Braselton.
A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Perdue was the son of the late Lloyd "Bill" and Gaynell Gravitt Perdue. He retired from the City of Gainesville Water Department where he had worked for 35 years. Paul was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Christine Bell Perdue, Gainesville, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Eugene and Mary Jane Bell, Gainesville, nieces and nephews, Kathy Kersh, Gainesville, Sherry Sanford, Dahlonega, Clay Bell, Blue Ridge, Billy Bell, Alto, Ricky Bell and Greg Bell, both of Gainesville. A number of great and great great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday July 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Phil Carpenter will officiate. Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
