Paul (Paulie) Louis Pfister, Jr, 73, died suddenly at his home Sunday September 7th.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Winnifred Miller Pfister and brother Tim Pfister. Paulie was a graduate of St. George Grade School, St. Xavier High School, and Bellarmine College. He attended St. Thomas Seminary for many years where he made life-long friends.
Paulie was the proud former owner of Nuts N' Stuff bulk specialty food store. He was a member at St Elizabeth Church in Germantown.
Paulie is survived by his wife, Imelda (Mel) Bickett Pfister, our two sons Joshua S Pfister (wife Claire) and Micah Pfister (wife Katie) and his five beloved grandchildren, Molly, Nix, Simon, Bo, and Whit, who he loved to aggravate. He is survived by his father Paul Louis Pfister, Sr, (wife Cathy) siblings, Patrick Pfister, Missy Stamon, Donna Nash (Pat), John Pfister, Thomas Pfister, and sister in laws Judy Bickett and Barbara Pfister, as well as many nieces and nephews. To say he will be missed by his family and friends is an understatement. He will be remembered for his booming voice, big heart, and the delight he took in cooking for those who were fortunate enough to break bread at his table.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, September 12, 2025 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 1020 East Burnett Avenue. Visitation will take place from 1-8 PM on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret Avenues.
The family request that in lieu of flowers you would consider cleaning out your closet of all your old shoes and donating them to WaterStep in Paulie's memory. This is a phenomenal organization that converts your old worn-out shoes into water filter that supply potable drinking water in 3rd world nations. Find out more or donate monetarily at waterstep.sorg. You may also consider giving to Franciscan Kitchen at franciscankitchen.org
Rest easy Paulie. Slainte!
