Paul Prince,68, a resident of New Castle passed away Friday August 29, 2025 at his home following a brief illness. He was born September 24, 1956 in New Castle to the late Roy and Geneva Prince.
Paul had been employed at Foam Rubber Products in New Castle as well as Chrysler Corp. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge and a regular at Buffalo Wild Wings. An avid golfer, Paul played in tournaments all over the United States. He was a fan of the Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts and IU Hoosiers. Paul loved animals, especially his dog, Carl and his cats, Lumpy and Mama. He will be greatly missed by the “gang” and the staff at B-Dubs.
Survivors include a daughter, Tracy Prince of New Castle; a son Ray Antrim of New Castle; special grandson, Thor (Nissa) Pittman of Shepherd, Michigan; three sisters, Mary (Lee) Keesling, Wilma York and Shirley (Bruce) Smith, all of New Castle; brothers, Dennis (Margaret) Prince of Chesterfield, Virginia, Rob (Kim) Prince, Ray (Becky) Prince, Roger (Betty) Prince and Terry Prince, all of New Castle; brother-in-law: Ernest Brown of New Castle; special friends: Mark Brandenburg, Mark Brown and Bob Deming and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice “Darlene” Prince; two brothers, Steve and Richard Prince; a son, J.J. Pitman; a sister Fern Brown and a nephew, Bill Prince.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Rob Prince officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. You may express condolences or share a memory of Paul at www.hinsey-brown.com
