Paul Armand Ravelli, of Berlin, Cherry Hill, and
Voorhees, NJ, passed away on April 29, 2024. He was 83 years old. Paul was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Armand J. and Grace O. Ravelli (nee Reichenbach). He was married 61 years to the love of his life Rose Marie Ravelli (nee Mustaro). He was a devoted and loving father of Paul Andrew Ravelli; Judi Ann (Michael) Sylvester, Stephen (Jennifer) Ravelli, and Christine (Matthew) Quinn. Cherished grandfather of Michael (Ashley), Paul, Jackson, Timothy, Nicholas, Harris, Isabella, Charles, and Jimmy. Great Grandfather to Michael Nicholas.
Paul was born in Philadelphia and moved to
Berlin, NJ in 1952. He was a loving brother to Olivia (Wayne) Dotta; Brother-in Law to Carl (Arlene)Valorie and Pre-deceased by Thomas and Elizabeth Caffrey, and Yvonne Valorie. He cherished being a fun loving Uncle and Great-Uncle. Paul was a friend and confidant to all he came in contact with!
Paul attended St. Lawrence Elementary School. Where he was active in Boy Scouts of America and Little League Baseball. He was immensely proud to say that he was a graduate of St. Joseph's Preparatory School in Philadelphia. Paul obtained his undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering from Saint Joseph's University and a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
In 1947 Paul's father opened Ravelli Memorials. After working for the Frankford Arsenal and Grumman Corporation in the Defense-Aerospace Division in New York, he decided to come home and utilize his engineering knowledge to build and design beautiful monuments. In 1976 Paul and his wife Rose Marie took over and continued to develop and grow the family business. Paul loved it when he could bring his children out to work with him to "set stones" or "take a rubbing". There was not a family vacation without a stop to an out of the way cemetery to "check something out." Paul loved to help others in their time of need and support them in their grief. He was truly a man for others.
He enjoyed attending his children's and grandchildren's sporting events. Pop-pop loved to cheer his grandchildren on to victory! Even if it meant driving onto the field so that Nonna could get a better view!
He was a diehard Philly fan of The Phillies, The Flyers, and the Eagles. Paul loved music, especially the Beatles. He loved to sing and dance with anyone, but especially his beautiful wife Rose Marie. His smile and laugh will be greatly missed.
