Paul R. Robertson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Paul R. Robertson, age 90, husband of Carol P. (Sullivan) Robertson, who left us on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Paul departed peacefully at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, surrounded by the love of his wife and children after a brief illness.
Born in Fall River, MA, on October 3, 1934, Paul was the son of the late William H. Robertson Sr. and Eva May (Pearson) Robertson. He graduated from Durfee High School in Fall River and went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. Paul was a devoted and successful certified public accountant, lending his expertise to several accounting firms throughout his career until his well-deserved retirement.
Paul's commendable service to his country in the United States Navy from 1954-1958 instilled in him a strong sense of duty and dedication. A resident of Middleborough for many years, he was an active member of Sacred Heart Church, where he contributed to the warmth and vitality of his community.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Paul was known for his passionate hobbies. He was an avid reader and found immense joy in gardening, but most importantly, he cherished the time spent with his family, creating lasting memories that will be fondly remembered by all.
In addition to his beloved wife Carol, Paul is survived by his children: Edward P. Robertson and his wife Barbara of Green Cove Springs, FL; Mary Beth Ehney of Middleborough; Ann Marie Morais and her husband Michael of East Taunton; Michael W. Robertson and his wife Ana of Raynham; and Susan J. Haworth and her husband Brett of Somerset. Paul also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews whose lives he touched deeply.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a public viewing which will be held at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347 on December 11, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church 340 Center Street Middleborough, MA 02346 on December 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Paul will be laid to rest in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Middleborough following the mass.
In this time of grief, let us remember Paul R. Robertson for his unwavering love, kindness, and the profound impact he had on those fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
