Paul Edward Rumple Jr., 62, passed away peacefully Friday, October 11, 2024, at home with his family by his side after a hard battle with Parkinson's Disease.
He was born November 13, 1961, in Mt. Olive, North Carolina, son of the late Paul and Jeanne Loree (Lane) Rumple.
Paul married the love of his life, the former Lisa Morgan on October 10, 1981. They just celebrated 43 wonderful years together.
He graduated from Champion High School in 1980 and went on the join the United States Air Force which led him to Guam and living in California for a short time. After returning to the area, he worked in the maintenance field until complications from Parkinson's forced early retirement. Paul was an avid Cleveland sports and Ohio State fan. He had a love for airplanes, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and old cars, especially restoring old mustangs with his dad at his parent's shop, the former Mustang Trading Post in Champion.
Paul will be missed greatly by his friends and family. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and love for his family.
Paul is survived by his wife Lisa and their son Joshua (Lacina) Sutton of Cortland, and two daughters, Harley (Thaddeus) Smith of Saraland, Alabama and Patsy Rumple of Warren. A sister, Sidlee Michelle Rumple of Champion. As well as four grandchildren that he adored, Morgan, Kyrah, and Jensen Sutton and Thaddeus Smith.
He was proceeded in death by his father Paul; mother Loree; and granddaughter Celeana Sutton.
Calling hours will be at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, Saturday, October 19, 2024, followed by a funeral service at 3:00pm.
A private interment will take place in Southington Graham Cemetery, Southington, OH.
A special thank you to Patriot at Home Healthcare and Patriot Hospice for the compassionate care given to Paul.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
