Paul Sandler peacefully passed away at the age of 98.
He was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Ruth Bergman and his sons Mark and Gary Sandler.
Paul was a life long resident of Rochester, New York and was a graduate of East High School.
He is survived by his daughter Lori Sandler Canada, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grand daughter.
Paul was a veteran of World War II. After he completed his service he was CEO of Sandler's Inc. which sold furniture, paint, wallpaper and hardware. After he retired he worked as a Election Site worker. He also volunteered at the Jewish Federation of Rochester and The Downstairs Cabaret.
Paul enjoyed several hobbies such as making stained glass, playing tennis and he was an avid reader.
A private burial was held in Britton Rd. Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jewish Federation of Rochester or the Rochester Public Library in Paul's memory.
